And we thought the skeeter’s were bad!!

I thought with a mostly cloudy sky, and warm tempture, some sunset pictures would be fun to take.

It’s less that 2 miles up to the public beach so that’s where we headed around 8:30.

When we were there the other day, we didn’t see the first fly, some people were getting sun on the beach while kids played in the water.

We had long pants and sandals on, well needless to say the long pants got wet up to our knees. So for this trip we decided on showing off our blinding white legs. We park the jeep walked up above the crest of the hill to check things out, to see if I really wanted to drag out the camera and tripod. We noticed a few flies were trying to bite so we also sprayed down with some bug spray.

The bug spray was no deterrent so with no protection on our ankle and lower legs it was probably worse than when we hiked the Misquote Gauntlet. We ended up cutting the excursion very short and were back home, it was still light enough that the motion light never even came on.

I plan to take some more pictures soon but will be dressed for the flies.
