We went sightseeing over a few days

We went sightseeing over a few days and from a couple 2 different campgrounds and these are the pictures. No Bogfoot’s were sighted along the way.

Not much to say except it was HOT out in the sun, not to bad in the shade. More pictures than words for a change.

I don’t know exactly how it all works but the Coulee Dam (hydro electric power plant) on the Columbia River, at a bend in the river creates the many many miles long Roosevelt Lake. Then, at the dam some water is siphoned off through a canal and that feeds the miles long shallow Banks Lake. Once the water leaves Banks Lake at the dam the water flows to ( I believe) another power plant and Summer Falls you’ll find in the pictures. From there the water goes through more canals and is used for irrigation.

I played with Mary’s camera, it has a microscope setting, this is lichen closeup. The stuff you see growing on rocks.

We’re now in the apple capitol, this valley and I’m sure others also are full of apple orchards.
