People people people and construction
Mary caught my cold and I ended up with a fever blister UGH!!!! I hope she dosen’t get one also.
You know you must be in the south when they are mowing grass in February:)
People people and more people along with construction is going on everywhere in Central Florida. In both the jeep and the MH we ended up driving on roads that were not in the GPS, many 2 lane roads are being converted to 4 lane roads, stop lights seeming in the middle of no where yet lots of traffic on the roads. Subdivisions, condos, retail and road construction everywhere, what were large farms last year are turning into new communities this year. In one place we were told they are finishing a new house every 7 days. Another area, called the Villages are golf cart communities, they build special golf cart roads and all the houses have a separate garage door for the golf cart. Apparently all the retail parking lots are buzzing with them in warm weather. I also heard that they are working to connect Leesburg to Walt Disney World with golf cart roads.

Flat Island Nature preserve.
We went for a walk today, Mary’s app thingy Said we walked a little over a mile back this trail( it lies), I’m sure it was at least 10 miles. Anyway, after walking hundreds of miles in the heat and humidity, my apologies to you all stuck in the frozen north, it’s HOT and humid here today. Eeeek I even sweated today, on the walk. UCK!!! Anyway, back to the trueish story. I’m sure we were transported back in time to some primordial forest and I was expecting a T-Rex to step out any second and make a snack of me. After what felt like hours and hours of walking we met this couple, they said they had be there since 1933, and they said we were safe from the T-Rex because Bigfoot moved in in 1964 and ran off all the T-Rex’s. He said that Bigfoot wouldn’t bother us as long as we stuck to the trails and didn’t search the woods for him. As they walked away granny pulls out a cell phone and starts jabbering on it so I’m not really believing they have been there all that long.
So, we keep walking and at the end of the trail, is this primordial looking river, who knows what kind of prehistoric creatures are living just under the calm surface. We turn around to leave and we hear this splash off to the right, so Mary, feeling bigfoot watching her, and not feeling like taking any flack from bigfoot, picks up this stick about 2 foot long and as big around as her wrist. She stands there taping her foot while smacking her palm with the stick just daring bgfoot to step out and take her on, she was ready to beat knots on his noggin.
Now back to semi reality, all total except for the heat & humidity, it was a good walk of almost 3 mile and we never did see any dinosaurs or bigfoot.

Alligator sighting.
We went for a walk with a friend of Mary’s, that she use to work with, and I got to see my first live wild alligator. He never did move just kind hung out in the water. The community she lives in maintains the trail and they put these little “things” every so often.

Manatees
Manatees, birds and lots of people. The website suggested to get to Blue Spring State Park early because the parking was limited, we allowed PLENTY of time for the 1.5 hour drive. However after missing a couple of turns, GPS said to be in one lane, should have been in the other and with all the traffic, no way to change lanes, we arrived at the park at 9:15. The park opens at 9:00, at 9:15 the parking lot was already 1/2 full and the place only got busier as the day went.
We got to see several manatees but the wind was blowing just enough to make seeing them difficult, plus they tended to stay on the other side of the river where it was sunnier, leaving us to stand in the COOL breeze. The heat wave of yesterday’s long gone.
I could feel bigfoots eyes on me, but I figured with all the people around he wouldn’t cause any trouble.
About 2 hours later when we left, one parking lot was full and the other one only had 6-5 spaces open, we got to the gate, and there was cars lined up for at least 1/2 mile if not 3/4 mile, all waiting for their turn to get in the park.

I am really inspired with your writing abilities as neatly as with the
structure on your blog. Is this a paid topic or did you modify it yourself?
Either way keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare
to look a nice blog like this one these days..
P.S. If you have a minute, would love your feedback on my new website re-design. You can find
it by searching for “royal cbd” – no sweat if
you can’t.
Keep up the good work!
I every time emailed this website post page to all my contacts, since if like to read it then my
