10 hole’er
This morning 2/8/2020 @ 8:30 local time I’m outside with a tee shirt on, no sweatshirt and toboggan, and no cold fingers. What a difference a few hundred miles south and some sunshine can do.
I know you’ve heard of a 1 holer & probably a 2 holes many even a 3 holer but I bet you ain’t never heard of a 10 holes, more on that later.
So this morning. 2/8/2020 we drove down to Dauphin Island. Besides driving around the Island we toured the Estuarium and Fort Gaines. The Estuarium was interesting they had all kinds of aquariums set up with both fresh and salt water, got to touch sting rays and watched them being fed.
The fort was a big job 5 sided ( I think) and made of brick, built back in 1821. Lotta bricks used to build that sucker.
Anyway, a fort with 400 men manning it requires a lot of latrine duty usually, but here they got around that by using a drainage system at just the right height so every high tide washes the waste away, so they made a 10 hole latrine.
