Sunshine where are you?
3 days driving in the cold and rain, finally got out of the rain but it was still cold. After doing some research we tried to pull into this one city park campground, the GPS had us driving on this one little road while taking us to the WRONG spot, the reviews said the park had 10 pull through sites and to call and the police would come out and take your money for the stop. Well guess what, once we finally negotiated the super skinny roads and found the CG, NONE of the spots were pull through, they were all back in, so we had to unhook the Jeep, then the police no longer come out so we had to fine city hall so we could pay. To top it off we were, fortunately, between two strong storm systems, we had no severe weather but I think we did have some hail for a few minutes.
It was really strange this one time, we were driving along, it had just stopped with the super fine mist of rain, so I could turn off the windshield wipers, when all of a sudden bam, couldn’t see out the windshield, no warning, condensation covered the glass, so back on came the wipers for a while. Being an old school RV RUBY only had high and low wiper speeds with 1 slower speed, none of the 3 choices never really matched the 3 days of off and on, mostly on, rain.
Here we are 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and it’s burr, 45 at night.
