Yes, I know
Yes, I know I haven’t posted much lately.
Last Saturday, 10/4 we went to the Feast of the Hunters Moon, in West Lafayette, IN. One of these deals where you pay to park, pay an entrance fee for the pleasure of spending money. Overall it was interesting, All the vendors were set up in period tents and wore period outfits, including little kids, they had soldiers parading around in formation. Setting was early 1800’s.

While in the UP, We thought the Inverter and probably the batteries had died, so we set up an appointment to have it checked in Nappanee IN, so we spent the our time since arriving at Ontonagon with a battery charger at all of our stops. So at Nappanee they found a loose wire, inverter and batteries are fine. Whew.
The other interesting thing we did was tour the Studebaker Museum well worth the $$ for the tour, is South Bend IN. But Better yet attached to the Museum was Oliver’s Mansion, of Oliver’s tractors fame. Having not had the opportunity to tour very many mansions this one above all the others this was my favorite………………….. At 3 stories and 12,ooo square feet and only 38 rooms it might be a little small. If I could only win a half billion dollar lottery………..
More words below.
We spent a total of 4 nights at the Wabash and Erie campground, it’s a nice little CG with many trails and buildings.
This will probably be my last post until we leave So. Indiana, hopefully around Nov. 1
