Arrived in Florida

It was a day of changes. We changed from rain and back again a couple of times, changed our destination a couple of times, changed time zones a couple of times, changed sates a few times, and I changed the windshield wipers:)

We pulled out in the rain, heading east towards Atlanta. Gasp did I just say we’re heading towards Atlanta? Why you might ask?  The tale is to be told in a later post:)

Our plans for Atlanta didn’t pan out so we took about 1/4 of the bypass jumped on I75 south, stopped just shy of the Florida border, this way we can officially say we stayed in Georgia for the night.

Boy, it’s a good thing I changed the windshield wipers the other day, we drove through some downpours, sat a few of them out at rest areas also.

We have arrived safely in the HOT and HUMID state of Florida, we’ll be here at last a week. We have no plans for what comes next, I guess we had better be making up our mind because sometimes Memorial Day can be hard to find a place to stay.
