I can’t believe I had to do that
3/23 2910 Elevation 272
I’ve gotten so used to waking up freezing in the mornings, waking up looking like one of those guys heading to the North Pole, you know, the guys with their faces all covered in ice, that’s how I’ve been waking up, we’ll go that might be a very slight exaggeration but not by much. I lay shivering and shaking, teeth clattering then the furnace kicks in and I begin to thaw.
Well, anyway last night not only did we not need to button things in preparation for the nightly deep freeze, but I sleep with a window open “….a window open, I still can’t get over it.
Only being 185 miles from the Gulf of Mexico might have a little something to do with that, but in a few days we’ll be making a hard left, headed back into the FROZEN NORTH:(
No pictures here, after so many cold nights it’s takes some getting use to not shivering.
