2 nights in a pumpkin patch
September 22
In a pouring rain we touched down in a pumpkin patch, actually that’s the name of the Campground. We had electric and water at the site but it was raining so hard I just quickly plugged us in and decided to deal with the water after it quit raining, the next morning.

For todays epic adventure first up was Fort Point lighthouse. The inside is not open to the public because it is a private home, but it’s in a State Park, so it’s ok to walk around the outside.

For the next stop, for a second, I thought we may have taken a wrong turn because we ended up at Fort Knox. Like in the movies maybe the gold is kept at this Fort Knox, hidden a way, in a Civil War era fort that can only be accessed by some secret passageway?
20 years in the making, then somehow Maine’s government had to pressure the war department to get some cannons for the fort at the beginning of the civil war. The bridge also had an elevator that took you to the top for some sonic views.
We made a couple more stops buy they were a big bust and waste of time and gas I didn’t feel that great anyway, 2 Benadryl’s later and it was the next morning.
The End

Just the other day I seen a show about that fort knox. It might have been one of those haunted places I don’t really remember what show it was. It could have been one of those abandoned place.
Maybe ghost but it’s not abandoned it’s pretty well kept up.
