Mary had her stent removed and was given a clean bill of health, HOWEVER the Dr wants to do some kind of test and follow up visit the first part of August. The test one week and the appointment the next week, apparently the test is just standard operating procedure. UGH!

Because we weren’t really sure what the Dr would tell Mary we didn’t make any reservations anyplace, Deam Lake is full, so this morning we drove up to Hardin Ridge Campground, it’s a federal CG so we’re staying for 1/2 price because of our Passport America Card.

We came up here because according to the website they have a large number of first come sites. We lucked into the very last site they had. Actually we wouldn’t have gotten this one except the people who had the site left a day early, other wise we would have been out of luck.

Fortunately it’s pretty shaded and mostly level. 

As an experiment we pulled the jeep up here.  I wanted to see how the van handled it for more than just a few miles. It did great not only that but we got 14 MPG towing the jeep.

Today is Thursday so we decided to hang around Indiana until next Sunday to attend a birthday party, then it’s off to who knows where until we need to be back the first part of August.

It was EXTRA H H & U H yesterday!!!!

So a couple of hours before dark yesterday these people set up a very nice large tent in the site next to us, it was still there at dusk last night. I get up this morning and the tent and any evidence it was even there is gone. No tent no people no cars…………………………. the only thing I can come up with is bigfoot made off with them sometime in the night.

Hum, you know if I was retired and lived in an RV I could travel to someplace with more comfortable weather – Wait, I do live in an RV, I got to say after looking at the forecast it took a LOT of willpower to hang around for the birthday party.

We pulled out of Hardin Ridge for Deam Lake, then in preparation for a mini escape, starting 7/10, we took the van in for the first the first oil change.
