I distinctly remember something about the number 16.
Oh yea now I remember, Mary had sixteen staples – that’s how many staples she had after her bladder/kidney surgery, to repair the damage done by a kidney stone. That and she had a catheter for a couple of weeks.
Thankfully both are gone, she still had a stent until the end of June, then,HOPEFULLY, she’ll be done with the kidney stone issue.
Over Memorial Day Weekend we were staying at Tipsaw Lake down by Tell City IN, anyway, we went for a walk and Mary did a terrible job of tying one of her shoes. One of them came untied so I had to retie it. Stopped 5 cars and a crowd of at least 100 peopled gathered around in the 30 seconds it took me to get her shoe tied and they all started clapping when I stood up, well of course I took a bow, Mary curtsied.
Mary might say things didn’t actually happen this way, but that’s how I remember it.
For those who like Science Fiction, I might suggest Bob’s Saucer Repair, easy and sometimes humorous, all total, there are 24-25 books in the series.
And just like Bob, I was born with blue eyes, I don’t need blue contacts!
