South Carolina and Georgia sure are HOT & MUGGY!!!!!
August 8/21 to 8/24/2021 Elevation 330 Temperature HOT
Hum, seems like I MAY have said something to the effect that I wasn’t going to complain about the heat any more, but as Mary knows I have a short memory. So here goes it sure is HOT!!!!! UGH!!!!
Humidity, humidity go away comeback again when I’m not around. 75 degrees/90% humidity and you are sweating just from stepping outside UGH!!!!
We spent 3 nights at Modoc Campground which is a Core of Engineers Park on Lake J. Strom Thurmond Reservoir located on the South Carolina & Georgia border, just north of Augusta GA & dang was it ever HOT & MUGGY. UGH!!!
One morning we started to go for a drive around 9:00, it had rained some the day before, and it was so foggy I couldn’t see the road so we turned around and waited a few hours before going for the drive.
On a Hot August morning, we pulled out around 9 am and drove 277 miles spent 1 night at Cains Creekside RV in Hahira GA.
