And they all run
July 10, 2021 Elevation 6344
After moving 216 miles this morning, pretty much due south, we arrived here in Kiowa Colorado about 12:30. It was an interesting drive, as the miles rolled by, many on smaller 2 lane roads, the landscape changed from large rolling hills to larger flat fields.
ALSO, happily, we have moved into a cooler area, actually I think the system causing the heat has moved on, what ever the reason, I’m happy! I didn’t even have one glass of ice water today, not one instead of the 4-5 that I’ve been drinking. With a low of 57 tonight it will be good sleeping.
Once we got set up and rested some Mary, looking for something to do in the area, found something called Rambler Ranch on Google Maps it’s not listed anywhere, he doesn’t advertise anywhere.
Anyway she found his website, gave him a call, and set us up for a 3:00 tour. On one hand it was a little expensive at a $20 each donation but on the flip side it was a small group with the owner, Terry Gale, giving the tour and he could tell you practically where every car came from. Most of the restoration is done in-house with an outside upholstery and body work done by small outside companies.
One car sat in a dealership for something like 30 years un-sold, it has 101 miles on it and Terry is now the proud owner. All of the hundreds of cars we toured are in running condition. He has another building or 2 that we didn’t tour of cars, in the works along with many more setting outside either for parts or waiting to be refurbished.
One of the many cars he had, has been in parades in Southern Indiana, it came from Sellersburg, I mentioned it and he gave me the history of the car just off the top of his head, just like with all the other cars he has.
He has so many cars that they are gy groups in different buildings. All total we toured 7 buildings.
One of his goals is to have one make and model of Nash vehicles from the first year of production to the last year of production, I think he said he has all but 8 cars and one military vehicle to complete his dream.
He not only has cars but a LOT of appliances and other forgotten items he’s brought to life.

does he have the beep beep song playing in the background
No, no music he was sometimes hard to hear as it was, music would have made it impossible to hear him.
